A man accidentally shot himself in the Celebration Pointe Bass Pro Shops Sunday evening.
Gainesville Fire Rescue crews arrived on the scene at 2650 Bass Pro Shops Blvd. at about 5 p.m. to treat the gun owner. According to GFR’s Twitter, the man’s gun accidentally went off in his pocket. Only the owner, who is in stable condition, was hurt.

A local employee at Bass Pro Shops was unable to comment. The store specializes in hunting, fishing and other outdoor sporting equipment. Guns ranging from pistols to rifles are also available for purchase.
GFR could not be reached for comment. Law enforcement is investigating.
