Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an incident at the county jail Saturday evening after a jail employee said an inmate exposed his genitals to her.

The jail nurse was passing out medications when the cellmate of 27-year old inmate Damian Brown distracted her. When the nurse turned around to continue passing out medications, Brown’s pants were around his ankles exposing himself. He appeared to be masturbating, according to the police report.
During questioning, Brown said he had no recollection of the events. Jail footage was provided to corroborate the incident.
Brown was already serving time at the county jail for a February arrest regarding a home invasion with a firearm.
He remains in jail with no opportunity for bond and an additional charge of lewd and lascivious behavior, a third-degree felony, regarding the Saturday arrest.
