An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for shopping with his roommate’s credit card, deputies said.
Delvin Miguel Que’stio Bostick, of Gainesville, was accused of making over $310 worth of purchases with his roommate’s Amazon Prime credit card more than a month ago, according to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The roommate’s credit card was mailed to their Crossing at Santa Fe apartment, at 3205 NW 83rd St., while he was out of town for 10 days in August, the report said. When he got his credit card statement around Oct. 1, the roommate found fraudulent charges he did not make.
He told deputies Bostick used his credit card and cited the pizza as the proof. The credit card statement had multiple charges from Five Star Pizza, and another roommate saw Bostick receive several deliveries, the report said.
Bostick denied the accusations at first but later admitted to using the card after deputies investigated the pizza charges, the report said.
Bostick was charged with credit card fraud and grand theft. He was released from the Alachua County Jail Thursday afternoon without bond.
Bostick declined to comment.
