Netflix Binge Drinking game: Twin Peaks

Released in 1990, ABC’s “Twin Peaks” begins with a centralized murder mystery combined with classic soap-opera elements, deadpan humor, dark mysticism and a sheer style of its own. 

The Mark Frost- and David Lynch-produced serial drama cracks the mystery of Laura Palmer’s (Sheryl Lee) murder.

Although the show only lasted two seasons, don’t be fooled by its short life span.

Two seasons are more than enough to witness the array of characters, from the young cross-dressing Drug Enforcement Administration agent played by David Duchovny, to the 40-year-old Twin Peaks High School cheerleader with superhuman strength. 

With that being said, no great cult TV show is without an accompanying drink.

• Someone orders a cherry pie from the Double R Diner

• The Log Lady talks to her log
• Audrey Horne does something kinky or suggestive
• Someone admits to sleeping with Laura Palmer
• Someone says, “The owls are not what they seem” or “Fire walk with me” 
• You see either the Man from Another Place or the Giant

• And pour another every time they show the Homecoming Queen picture of Laura Palmer
