Dear UF Students,
My name is Chris Boyett and I currently serve as the Impact Party President.
I am pleased to announce that our party’s slate for the Fall 2015 Student Government elections has been released.
After four days of interviewing, the Impact Party has selected the 50 most qualified and capable students to serve in the Student Senate.
This Fall, 278 of the 341 students who slated in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom slated with Impact Party.
We are truly grateful to attend a university with so many deserving students and had to make many difficult decisions.
The Gator Nation is full of students eager to make an impact, and it seemingly becomes more competitive with each passing election cycle.
We heard a vast amount of excellent ideas from those who came to slate and decided on the 50 candidates we felt best aligned with our party’s aspirations and were best suited for each seat.
Having to decide on only 50 students is a tall task, especially at a university like ours that fosters an incredibly competitive environment.
We selected candidates who are focused on ending political gridlock inside the senate chambers and are eager to make SG effective again.
We are proud to announce our full, qualified Senate slate for the Fall 2015 elections and cannot wait to continue to move Gators forward.
