Seventeen office complex buildings were broken into Monday night, and police are looking for the suspect.
The majority of the break-ins occurred in the area of 4800 NW Eighth Ave., 500 W. Newberry Road, the 500 block of Northwest 60th Street and 4700 NW 43rd Ave., Gainesville Police spokesman Officer Ben Tobias wrote in an email. The suspect primarily targeted doctor’s offices, realty offices, law offices and salons.
The suspect entered the buildings by prying open windows and doors, Tobias said, adding that the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from certain locations.
As of now, it does not appear that patient and client information is at risk, Tobias said.
Surveillance footage shows a white male wearing a baseball cap, a face covering, a backpack and a dark shirt with “100%” on the front.
The last break in was off of Northwest Sixth Place, Tobias said. An alarm went off at about 6 a.m. Tuesday.

4703 NW 53rd Ave. Suite A1 — Real Estate Attorney — The front door was pried.
4703 NW 53rd Ave. Suite A4 — Election Survey Office — The front door was pried. Nothing was missing and there were no fingerprints.
4703 NW 53rd Ave. Suite B2 — Therapist Office — The front door was pried.
4707 NW 53rd Ave. Suite B — Dr. Kim Davidson — The side door was pried open. The suspect then pried open the front door in the foyer.
