The Florida women’s swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2015 NCAA Championships in ninth place, marking Florida’s 15th straight top-10 finish at the meet.

The Gators gathered 15 All-American honors during the three-day meet in Greensboro, North Carolina.

While junior Jessica Thielmann led the way for Florida with four All-American honors, Natalie Hinds was breaking her own UF records.

The junior broke UF’s school-record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.19 – a record she set earlier Saturday in prelims with a time of 47.24.

"I wanted to break 47 (second), but I can’t be mad with finishing third place at nationals," Hinds said in a release. "It went really well. I do have some little things to work on but overall I’m pretty happy."

Coach Gregg Troy said he was pleased with the improvements the Gators made throughout the meet after a rough first day.

"They’ve done such a tremendous job all year with a lot adversity all year long," Troy said in a release. "But, the character they showed was excellent."

With no seniors at the meet, the Gators should return all of their swimmers who competed at the NCAA Tournament next year. Florida hopes the difficulties the team has faced will prepare it for another run in 2016.
