Fellow Gators,
In a little more than three weeks, you will have the opportunity to elect 50 student senators representing the Gainesville community and residence halls on campus for the Fall elections.
As your supervisor of elections, I encourage you to learn more about Student Government, the political parties, the candidates and the elections process.
Starting this Sunday, you will be able to interview to be a candidate with a political party at the Reitz Union Ballroom to become a part of Student Senate. This will also continue on Monday and Tuesday.
Election days are Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and we hope to offer 12 polling locations around campus.
Please remember that in the upcoming election, you will be able to vote for candidates who represent you based on where you live. Therefore, I ask that you all take the time to ensure that you have the correct local address on file in myUFL.edu
For more information on the elections process and how to properly update your local address, please visit sg.ufl.edu/elections.
Go Gators,
Hans Rojas
SG Supervisor of Elections
