Horror fans will not want to miss the activities the Hippodrome State Theatre has planned in October because there’s something different to scream at every week.
“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is among the string of productions at the theater this October. Go all out and dress up as your favorite character, or just go for the cult classic. Showtimes are Oct. 24 at 10:30 p.m., Oct. 25 at 11 p.m., Oct. 31 at 10:30 p.m. and Nov. 1 at 11 p.m.
Other films that are sure to spook audiences are “Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead,” “Honeymoon” and “Horns.”
If man-eating Nazi zombies sound appealing to you, “Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead” will give you enough graphic content to quench your thirst until next year. It will be paired with a bar stocked full with themed drinks.
In “Honeymoon,” you’ll follow a newly married couple to a disturbing remote lake and learn what love looks like when it’s truly for worse.
“Harry Potter” fans will get a chance to see Daniel Radcliffe in “Horns.” A murder leaves Radcliffe’s character, who awakes one morning with two horns, destined to seek revenge.
Whether it’s blood, darkness, discomfort or costumes you are seeking, the Hippodrome will be your haunted destination for this season of scare.
