Five Florida recruits for the 2015 season made an appearance at the Under Armour All-America game on Saturday in Towson, Md.

CeCe Finney, Isabella O’Connor, Allie Pavinelli, Shayna Pirreca and Olivia Cole were selected for the Under Armour All-America game in late May.

Even though the five recruits are set to play together at Florida, they were divided into two teams – North All-America Girls (7-2) and South All-America Girls (2-7) – and set to compete against each other.

The North team took attackers O’Connor, Pavinelli and Pirreca, while the South team had keeper Cole and midfielder Finney.

In the North team’s 18-11 win, each of the Florida recruits from both teams showed what made them top recruits for UF.

Cole made five saves and gave up 12 points in the first half after having an assault of shots on goal brought against her.

Finney, who came off the bench, made one goal, which was her only goal on three shots for the night.

The North team shined in the annual game.

Pirreca and O’Connor had an impressive night, opening up the game with the first three goals. Pirreca took the first goal 42 seconds into the game and O’Connor followed just 59 seconds later to mark the second goal. On the draw, Pirreca made a quick goal less than two minutes later to put the North team up 3-0.

At the end of the night, O’Connor pulled in four points, three of which were on goals and one on an assist.

Pirreca finished the night with five points – three goals and two assists – one ground ball and one draw control. She had the most points for the night and was the only other player besides O’Connor to make three goals.

The final freshman to show what they had was Pavinelli. The Northport, N.Y., native made one goal for the North team, but was unable to do much more on offense.

The five recruits mark the largest class to make the Under Armour All-America team since the inaugural class in 2009. The 2013 team had freshmen attackers Sammi Burgess and Haley Bordner and defender Caroline Fitzgerald.

Burgess finished the season with 38 goals, making her the highest scoring freshman and the second highest scorer on the team behind Shannon Gilroy, who had 86.

Fitzgerald finished the season with 22 caused turnovers and 30 ground balls, making her the most effective defender on the team.
