Senior point guard Scottie Wilbekin takes up the ball during No. 15 Florida's 67-66 win against Florida State on Nov. 29 in the O'Connell Center.

Contrary to previous thought, No. 15 Florida will have at least one point guard available when it squares off against No. 6 Kansas on Tuesday night in the O’Connell Center.

Senior point guard Scottie Wilbekin (sprained ankle) returned to practice Saturday – five days after suffering the injury late in Monday’s loss to UConn – and will play against the Jayhawks, UF announced.

Wilbekin missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

“We held him out the last couple days,” coach Billy Donovan said in a release. “He’s fine now.”

Freshman point guard Kasey Hill (high ankle sprain) is making progress but still has not been cleared to partake in full-contact drills, the school also announced. He remains questionable for the Kansas game.

Hill participated in non-contact drills Saturday, but while Florida players practiced, he was busy getting treatment in the training room. About a week ago, he was cleared for lower-body conditioning and running, UF said.

Hill has missed UF’s past four games since suffering the injury against Southern on Nov. 18.
