Santa (Jam) is coming to town.
The annual benefit concert kicks off Friday and ends Dec. 15.
Admission fee: One unwrapped child’s toy ($10 or higher value) or a $5 donation.
The organizers’ goal: Collect 1,000 donated toys.
Toy donations go to the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
The shows are held across North Central Florida. Two will be in Gainesville.
1) Friday: Dirty Bar, 2441 NW 43rd St., Suite 26B
2) Dec. 14: Backstage Lounge, 1315 S. Main St.
Tour headliner: David Ball. Other artists will be local and regional acts.
