In light of one of the opinion columns that appeared in the Alligator on Wednesday, Islam on Campus would like to clarify its views on the article, “Accent is rife with corruption.”
IOC encourages freedom of speech and taking an active part in leading social change, and while the author was an IOC member, his views are not necessarily representative of the organization as a whole. Any and all information the writer presented was based on his own opinions, research and perspective. IOC, however, does not necessarily endorse the opinions mentioned in the article.
IOC would further like to mention that it hopes to continue to build upon its strong relationship with Student Activities and Involvement over the course of this year and years to come and to build a stronger rapport with Accent as well. Thank you.
