Florida's Class of 2014 received a major boost on Monday.

Within hours, coach Will Muschamp landed three four-star 2014 commits from South Florida. Wide receiver Ermon Lane and cornerback Quincy Wilson both verbally committed to the Gators during a 560 WQAM radio broadcast at about 9:15 p.m. Cornerback Chris Lammons gave his pledge to UF earlier in the day live on ESPNU.

Before their announcements, there were rumors that Lane and Wilson wanted to play together. Lane, a 6-foot-2, 172-pound receiver from Homestead High, is the No. 2 wide receiver and the No. 32 overall player in the Class of 2014, according to Rivals.com. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Wilson, a Fort Lauderdale native from University School, is No. 150 in the class.

Lane chose UF over Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Alabama and USC, while Wilson had scholarship offers from reportedly more than 50 schools.

Lammons originally had Florida outside his top three, with South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama as his top choices, but the Plantation native had a last-second change of heart. A 5-foot-9, 168-pound corner with a 38-inch vertical, he is the No. 26 player in the class at his position.

UF now has 16 verbal commitments for the Class of 2014 – seven ranking in Rivals.com’s top 250.
