All of us have a little rebellious streak inside.  So why not dress like it every once in a while.

Channeling your inner punk has been sweeping the Fall 2013 fashion shows and the Met gala lately, so punk outfits and accessories are hot items to wear right now.

And you only need a few essentials to pull off this look:

The Punk Tee

Pull out that David Bowie or Sex Pistols shirt because you’re going to need it. The core accessory to donning punk attire is having that essential rock T-shirt. You don’t have to splurge on anything either; just go to a local store and hunt for your favorite 80s band’s shirt. If you search your parents’ closet, then you may even be able to pick one up for free.

The Bustier

If you want to amp up your outfit with a licentious flair, then put on that bustier. It makes the punk attire look more feminine yet still screams badass. Remember to balance it out with a low-key skirt of jeans. You don’t want to look like a dominatrix and get the wrong kind of attention.

The Leather Skirt

Wearing a leather skirt makes the punk look appear more feminine as well and is a great piece to wear for girl’s night. Wear a top that complements and doesn’t overshadow the sexiness of the leather skirt. Feel free to grab a skirt with snakeskin or animal print.

The Shoes

When it comes to punk shoes, the crazier the better. Whether its heels or combat boots, there are endless options for punk footwear. Studded shoes are a must, but you can branch out and get creative with how funky your shoes are.

The Accessories

Pile on those necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. Skulls, studs and crosses are a few great additions that you can add to your outfit. Every punked-out chick needs the perfect accessory to pull off the outfit. Go big or go home with those studded chains.
