Senior Lauren Embree returns a ball during Florida’s 4-1 win against Georgia on March 15. Embree lost to Stanford's Nicole Gibbs 6-0, 6-1 as the Cardinal defeated the Gators 4-3 to advance to the NCAA title match.

Brianna Morgan dominated the tennis court Friday.

The freshman from Beverly Hills, Calif., grabbed her fourth clincher as second-ranked Florida defeated Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.

Morgan held first serve and dominated the court 6-1, 6-2 against Caitlin McGraw to seal the Gators’ 4-0 victory.

Morgan wasn’t the only Gator on top of her game.

Sofie Oyen and Alex Cercone also held first serve in their singles matches and put up a four-point lead in their first sets.

Oyen controlled her pace on the court against Jessica Stiles and grabbed a 6-2 result in two sets for the third Florida point.

Cercone also grabbed a 6-2 win in her first set and gained momentum in the second to shut out Khristina Blajkevitch 6-0.

Cercone was the first off the courts in singles and put the Gators up 2-0 over the Wildcats.

Top-ranked Lauren Embree played a close first set against No.22 Nadia Ravita. The two swapped games back and forth until Embree won the tiebreaker for a 7-6 win. Embree and Ravita were tied 1-1 in the second when Morgan grabbed the clincher.

Despite her unfinished singles match, Embree took over in doubles with Oyen to help the Gators grab the first point of the match.

The Gators pairing was the deciding factor after freshmen Danielle Collins and Morgan dropped to Blajkevitch and Stiles 8-4. Embree and Oyen played a close set with McGraw and Ravita, but edged out the Wildcats duo in two games for an 8-6 win.

Juniors Olivia Janowicz and Cercone grabbed the first win on the doubles court, defeating Stephanie Fox and CeCe Witten 8-4.
