Construction of the new Heavener School of Business is set to begin soon. In preparation for the new building, UF is about to start cutting down a huge number of trees (about 100) on the northeast corner of campus — the corner of University Avenue and 13th Street.

The tree clearing will begin any day now. This corner is at one of the main gateways to campus and is currently beautifully landscaped with a variety of trees and shrubs, including some very old, tall pines, oaks and magnolias.

If you haven’t visited this pretty corner of the university in a while, you’d better do it now because it will soon be gone forever.
