Mr. Skipper,
Thank you for your column. I really enjoyed it, and it has sort of revived my faith in your generation. Believe me, it needed some revival, as I have read other articles written by your fellow students and was totally disgusted. One had as its major subject the act that scumbag Clinton and his young slut entered into, and the other was about the writer, a female male, talking about how he lost his boyfriend.
I also found the article by Justin Hayes to be very interesting and well-written. Two excellent, commonsense arguments in one edition must be a first. You both will probably never be asked to write again.
I am 81 and have some different views than you do, which is natural.
I am Catholic and certainly believe in God, but I have serious issues with the hierarchy of the church. But when I hear these young a---s go on about abortion, drugs, free sex, binge boozing, etc., my stomach turns, as I get so ticked off. I am a great believer in giving kids who don’t behave a swift kick or slap in the butt, and I just wish more parents had felt the same way
My wife and I go to Shands at UF about every six to eight weeks, as she has a very serious eye problem. We go to the eye clinic, so she can get injected in the eyeball with a medication. So far, the good doctors have saved the sight in her one good eye, for which we are very, very thankful. Because your articles are printed on Wednesdays, I will try to get her appointments on Wednesday, so I can read your column.
