The Swamp Party announced its candidates for Student Body vice president and treasurer on Turlington Plaza on Monday afternoon.
The party’s presidential candidate, Christina Bonarrigo, presented Joselyn Rivas and Jayce Victor as the vice president and treasurer candidates, respectively.
Rivas, 20, UF finance and psychology junior, has served as treasurer for Hispanic Heritage Month and the diversity division chair of Student Government Cabinet in the 2012-2013 school year. If elected, Rivas said she would focus on community and diversity in the Student Body.
Victor, 22, UF philosophy senior, served as a District D senator, a member-at-large of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Student Council and president of the Black Law Student Association (Pre-Law).
“I will use everything I have learned to make a change on this campus,” Victor said.
The Students Party announced all three of its candidates two weeks ago. UF political science senior Johnny Castillo will run for president. Jenna Goldman, 19, a UF political science sophomore and Students Party president, is running for vice president.
UF environmental science junior Billy Farrell, 21, is running for treasurer. He is the president of UF’s College Democrats.
