We are almost through January, and gyms across campus are still packed with sneaker-clad New Year’s resolutioners armed with water bottles and iPod “workout zone” playlists.
But if your health-related resolution was to eat more fruits and vegetables, juicing might be the perfect solution. Although it’s probably not any easier than eating a fruit or vegetable whole, juicing might be a simple, more interesting way to include these necessary food groups in your diet.
An at-home juicer can cost from $50-$200, or pre-juiced cleanses from companies like Blueprint ($55-$75) can be delivered to your home. Below is a recipe for Green Juice that will provide calcium, vitamins and minerals, as well as aid in digestion. It may look gross, but it will taste delicious. Drink up!
