Two more men connected with an August robbery at a southwest Gainesville apartment complex were arrested Tuesday.
The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office charged Donte Bradley-Faulk, 21, of Southwest 17th Place, and Malcolm Cromarty, 20, of Southwest 17th Place, with aggravated battery, grand theft and home invasion, according to an ASO arrest report.
The arrests followed an investigation of the Aug. 23 robbery, when three men, wearing black bandanas around their faces, robbed four people at the Reflections Apartment complex, on Southwest 75th Street.
On Aug. 24, police arrested two of the five assailants connected to the robbery: Larry Robinson, 18, and Ahmad Rashard Hunt, 22.
During questioning, Robinson told deputies that Benjamin Tyrell Lewis, 28, was one of the three men who broke into the apartment. The next day, police arrested Lewis.
Almost a week later, police spoke to Robinson at the Alachua County Jail. Through a photographic lineup, Robinson identified Cromarty and Bradley-Faulk as the two men who accompanied Lewis in the robbery.
On Oct. 18, Robinson filed a sworn complaint to the sheriff’s office, and said he knew Lewis, Cromarty and Bradley-Faulk were going to rob the apartment.
Police confirmed Robinson’s statements with a polygraph test.
Based on Robinsons’ statement and a photo confirmation, deputies arrested Cromarty and Bradley-Faulk Tuesday.
Police booked both men into Alachua County Jail with $175,000 bonds.
As of Wednesday night, all five suspects remained in jail.
