Registration for University of Florida summer, fall courses now available on ISIS

Students planning to return to Gainesville for the summer or fall semesters can now start registering for classes.

Online registration opened for summer and fall courses on Monday. Students can sign up through the ISIS website.

The deadline for Summer A and C advance registration is May 10, while Summer B registration ends June 28. The deadline for fall advance registration is August 20, according to the Office of the University Registrar’s website.

The office notified students about the advance registration dates in both the March 5 and March 19 issues of Gator Times.

Information about advance registration can be found on the registrar’s website and ISIS.

Students are assigned registration dates and times based on their class and credits.

Jessica Sweeb, a 20-year-old family, youth and community sciences sophomore, said she plans to register to take anatomy and physiology during Summer A and financial accounting during Summer C.

Sweeb said she enjoys the relaxed campus atmosphere in the summer, and she can focus more on her classes.

Last year, about 28,688 students signed up to take summer courses, said Betsy Worley, Associate University Registrar.

Gloria Vosu, a 19-year-old business freshman, said she is going back home and trying to find a job.

“I want to save money so I can pay for rent at my apartment next year,” she said. “But taking summer classes in the future is definitely a possibility.”
