Students planning to graduate at the end of the spring semester must apply for a degree by today.
The Office of the University Registrar's website does not indicate a deadline time.
Applicants can log onto isis.ufl.edu and select "Degree Application" on the left side under "My Record."
Students can only apply for one degree at a time, according to the site. Those who plan to graduate with multiple degrees will have the option to return to the page to submit additional degrees.
The page asks applicants to type their names exactly as they want it to appear on their diplomas, including letters with accents and special characters.
Students can choose whether they want to be listed in the commencement program and enter their degree request information.
Responses to all three sections are required. After the application is submitted, a confirmation page should appear.
Students who miss the deadline can petition to apply late through the registrar's website. Students must submit the forms to their college's dean's office for approval.
The first deadline for ordering a cap and gown is March 2. Graduating students can also purchase honors cords, and students with certain degrees rent hoods with their caps and gowns.
