Florida coach Will Muschamp has not yet chosen replacements at offensive coordinator and strength and conditioning coach, and there is no timetable for when those hires will be made.
"I've talked to a lot of people at the strength position and the offensive coordinator position, and when I make the hire everybody will know," Muschamp said. "But no one has been hired, no one has been offered a job yet, so that's it."
Both positions were vacated this month when strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti took a job at Ohio State and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis was hired as the head coach at Kansas.
Interim offensive coordinator Brian White remains a candidate, although Muschamp is exploring other options.
"I still have people I want to talk to," Muschamp said. "I've talked to probably six, seven, eight people so far.
While the interview process is set to continue, Muschamp seems comfortable with what White brings to the table.
Muschamp appreciates White's experience. White served as the offensive coordinator at Wisconsin for eight seasons and shares Muschamp's pro-style offensive philosophy.
"Everybody's got great ideas until they've sat in that chair," Muschamp said. "Then they understand the difference. They see the big picture. ... There's no question his experience I thought was very critical in our growth as an offense."
Injury update: Guard Dan Wenger is still hobbled by an ankle injury, but Muschamp expects him to play Monday against Ohio State in the Gator Bowl.
Linebacker Lerentee McCray has struggled to recover from a shoulder injury and is doubtful for the game.
"We've exhausted about every measure as far as the shoulder is concerned, trying to work and get total range of motion and strength back," Muschamp said. "It just has not come back to this point."
Demps, Thompson miss practice: Running back Jeff Demps missed Tuesday's practice because of a "personal matter" and will rejoin the team Wednesday, Muschamp said.
Wide receiver Deonte Thompson was also absent from Tuesday's practice. Rather than make the trip to Jacksonville University, Thompson stayed at the team hotel due to an illness.

The Gators are the most penalized team in the nation with 61 for 465 yards, including six against Auburn on Saturday. The most glaring was an offsides call on defensive tackle Dominique Easley that allowed Auburn a free shot at the end zone, which it converted for the game’s first points.
