Fall Out Boy's lead singer makes solo album

Patrick Stump, known by most as the lead singer of the pop-punk group Fall Out Boy, released his first full solo album this week.

The album, titled "Soul Punk," is truly a solo effort, since Stump wrote, produced and performed everything.

The one-man-show is not completely alone on the album, however. In the single "This City," Lupe Fiasco is featured, both in the song and the music video.

While Stump's album is called "Soul Punk" the pop influence, especially from the 80s-era Michael Jackson, is strong.

The album has slowly come together on Stump's website, where he has posted videos of songs both in progress and fully completed.

The full album is now available on iTunes.
