Sophomore guard Jon Halapio and junior defensive tackle Earl Okine were involved in a minor car accident Sunday in Madison County, according to a WCTV report.
The two were driving east on Interstate 10 when their vehicle left the roadway, hitting small bushes and trees in the median.
According to a Florida spokesman, neither Halapio nor Okine was injured and the two were back in Gainesville Sunday night.
The incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 p.m., and the players were examined by Madison County EMS at the scene.
A post on Halapio's Twitter account Sunday said, "God is so good. So blessed to be alive."
Both Halapio and Okine are expected to be back in practice on Monday.
