An article in Thursday's Alligator incorrectly reported that profits from the Florida Museum of Natural History's Butterfly Plant Sale totaled $30,000 in 2008 and $120,000 so far in 2011. The 2008 amount reflects gross sales, not profits, and the 2011 figure is a projection for this year's gross sales.

An article in Thursday's Avenue section of the Alligator incorrectly reported that a recent donation of vertebrate fossils to the vertebrate paleontology division at the Florida Museum of Natural History is the the largest private donation the museum has ever received. It is the largest private donation the vertebrate paleontology division has ever received.
