In other news, the mildly funny comic Daniel Tosh renegotiated his contract for speaking at the UF O’Connell Center to reduce the crowd from 8,000 to 4,900 attendees.

 Tosh was reported to be uncomfortable with such a large crowd.

He was originally to be paid $66,000 of student money, but, thanks to the careful stewardship of the Accent Speakers Bureau and UF Student Government (who felt “uncomfortable” paying him the full amount), will instead be paid $40,125 for accomplishing only 61 percent of the job.

Thank you, SG, for watching out for the students and not wasting our money.
