The Florida Cicerones are breaking out a new theme and changing other aspects of their recruitment program, which starts with their annual spring recruitment forum Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Emerson Alumni Hall.

The forum will provide an opportunity for prospective members to ask questions and learn more about the current Cicerones.

Cicerones President Andrew Stricklin is optimistic their “Characters Wanted” campaign will attract the type of people the organization looks for because it emphasizes how diverse people in the organization are.

The organization is also partnered with Child Life at Shands Children’s Hospital, and anyone attending the forum is asked to bring affordable toys to support the program.

Attendance at the forum is encouraged but not required for those applying to be a part of Cicerones.
