Dear Jared,

My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up, and I want to do something special and sexy. I feel like women definitely have it easy when it comes to these kind of gifts (us gentlemen just can’t pull off a striptease or lingerie as easily).

I was thinking about a back rub, but I really want it to be memorable. What other things can I do for her big day? How do I let her know it’s not a gift to myself?

Thanks,

Birthday Sex

Ladies in the audience, how many of you wouldn’t want to see your boyfriend bust out the bow tie and pull off his buttoned pants Chippendale-style just for you?

Anybody have their hand up?

Ladies, can I get a we-love-our-naked-boyfriends whoop-whoop in the house?

So, Birthday, to assume your girlfriend wouldn’t want a teensy striptease is to assume that action is reserved for the ladies. And we all know it’s not.

Although I wouldn’t recommend introducing scarves or color guard-sized flags into your demo just yet, a little teasing action is rarely rejected.

But then again, making your girlfriend feel special on her birthday is rarely about how naked you can get.

Making your girlfriend feel special often means surprising her at work, sending her flowers without her asking, making dinner even when you’re a horrible cook. Making this day memorable will mean making her feel beautiful.

Rose petals and hand-written notes left across the house are some of the sexiest gifts a boy can give. Of course, crotchless panties come in at a close second.

Show her how much you care for her by doing ordinary-to-you but extraordinary-to-her things, and you might get a gift for yourself on her special day.
