Do you know why I hate reading the Alligator on Thursday?

I have to see Bryan Griffin’s name on top the opinion section and without reading a word, I know I am reading a word-for-word excerpt from somewhere within the bowels of GOP.com. Bryan Griffin’s column is never original and never deviates from the party line.

If the Alligator seriously cares about adding new voices to the political debate and not about stroking the ego of Griffin, who thinks he is the GOP’s next great white hope, then it should seriously consider withdrawing his rights to a weekly column. Or make him prove he isn’t a GOP automaton and is capable of at least one original thought.
