One more Haden has decided to leave Florida.

Months after All-American cornerback Joe Haden decided to forgo his senior season as a Gator to enter the NFL Draft, it was revealed Monday that his brother Jordan Haden is transferring from UF.

A UF spokesman said Florida has granted the safety’s transfer with no restrictions on which school he can switch to.

Players did not speak on the issue in interviews Monday.

Jordan, a freshman, enrolled at UF in January and will leave Gainesville without ever playing in a game as a Gator.

There have been reports that his older brother, running back Josh Haden, has decided to transfer from Boston College to Florida. UF officials cannot comment on prospective student athletes due to NCAA rules.

NOTES

*Linebackers coach D.J. Durkin said Jelani Jenkins is ahead of Jon Bostic in the competition for a starting spot and is playing with the first team. He said Jenkins could see time at middle linebacker or outside linebacker.

*Freshmen Dominique Easley, Sharrif Floyd and Trey Burton lost their stripes because of their performance in Saturday’s scrimmage.

*Durkin said linebacker Brandon Hicks, who was treated for dehydration at a local hospital Friday, is back at practice and doing fine.

*Defensive line coach Dan McCarney: “[Floyd and Easley] are physical guys. So far, we still have a ways to go, but in the scrimmage and in all of our practices, they don’t look one bit out of place. They look like they belong on the field this year.”

*There are numerous reports that UF commit Ja’Juan Story was arrested and charged with battery Sunday. He is expected to play wide receiver at Florida.
