It is very sad how Student Government Productions runs its business. It brings an artist in for such large amounts of money that the people who want to see that artist can’t afford it.
Or it has the artist play at the UF Bandshell.
SGP does not understand that it needs to bring in artists who people will pay to see, artists who will sell out the Stephen C. O’Connell Center and artists who will increase revenue to bring more bands to UF.
The Pixies go on tour in September.
They are asking $38,000 to play and are selling out shows. They can fill the O’Dome, and SGP is not interested.
