Class clowns at UF could have the chance to get paid.
Comedy.com, a Web site dedicated to telling the world about what’s funny right now, is conducting a search for the funniest UF student to serve as its official UF correspondent, said Matt Koman, senior director of content for the site.
The chosen student will add a comedic spin to Florida happenings by writing a daily blog.
Koman said the site is looking for students with a sense of humor, an opinion and a passion for everything funny.
He said Comedy.com will help promote and market the blog posts, as well as provide Los Angeles networking opportunities for the writer.
Interested students can apply for the paid position online at comedy.com/college. Applications will be accepted until the end of February.
