Gainesville police are searching for a man who robbed local lingerie shop French Addiction, 819 W University Ave., at gunpoint Saturday night.
According to a police report, a clerk was alone when a man knocked on the locked door.
He looked around then opened his jacket, revealing a sign saying he had a gun and not to panic.
The man demanded the clerk give him money from the open cash register then left by bicycle after receiving it.
Police searched the area and UF campus but were unable to find the man.
The suspect was described as a black male, 45 to 55 years old and wearing a dark jacket and beanie cap.
