The Alachua County Health Department is offering free H1N1 vaccinations Saturday at three locations.

As the future of the free vaccinations at clinics remains uncertain, Paul Myers, the Alachua County assistant director of the health department, is encouraging locals to take advantage of the offer.

“At this time, we are still assessing whether or not there will be more free clinics set up in the future,” Myers said.

Vaccinations are available in Gainesville at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 120 SE Williston Road, a Butler Plaza tent at  the 500 block of Archer Road, and in Alachua at the Turkey Creek Clubhouse at 11400 Turkey Creek Blvd. All three clinics will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The vaccine will still be available at the health department’s main site in Gainesville and its satellite clinic in Alachua.
