A UF student group is turning the idea of sustainability into a reality on campus.
Students in Free Enterprise, a business organization, is holding a sustainable entrepreneurship forum Dec. 1 to focus on opportunities that sustainability trends bring to the business world.
The forum will give students the chance to network with local entrepreneurs who implement sustainable practices in their businesses and find success in doing so, according to host Kyle Futch.
“More importantly, by implementing sustainable practices, businesses do not burden society with negative environmental consequences,” Futch said. “Instead, they take responsibility for their actions, adding value to society as a whole.”
The forum will take place in Bryan Hall 232 on Dec. 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information, go to ufsife.com.
