A 2006 Bowl Championship Series National Championship ring will find a new home Monday.
The Make a Play Foundation will raffle off a ring, which is only given to players and coaches, that was donated anonymously by a UF football player.
Each tickets cost $10, or fans can purchase three tickets for $25.
Gators fans can enter the raffle through the Web site, makeaplayfoundation.org or by calling 352-514-2681.
The raffle will end Sunday at midnight, and the drawing will take place Monday at noon.
"That would be freakin' sweet," said Tana Conner, a senior telecommunication major.
Conner said she plans to buy a ticket, and if she wins she would give the ring to her father. "It would, like, make his life," she said.
Fans are encouraged to buy as many tickets as they want, said Alecia Pynn, the founder of the foundation.
The ring is a size 12 and can be resized within two sizes of the original. It is 10 karat white gold and decorated with cubic zirconias.
The foundation raffled off a Southeastern Conference championship ring last spring and raised about $8,000. They sold about 1,940 tickets, Pynn said.
"We want to use the passion and energy for college football in Florida to create resources and opportunities for youth and family programs," she said.
The money raised goes toward the foundation's family and youth projects. Some money also goes to former football players' foundations.
Pynn said another UF football player has approached her about possibly auctioning off his 2008 SEC championship ring.
