In our first semifinal matchup, Volin destroyed Abbott to earn a spot in the finals. Volin has been the best team all year, and his squad is showing no signs of fading down the stretch. Blaine Gabbert put up 30 and Baron Batch added 31 to lead Volin's sqaud. If Ben is able to win this week, expect an obnoxious guest column that will likely offend/creep out the female student body.

Callovi was having a great year and appeared to be on the way to keeping a guest column out of the paper, but he melted down in the semifinals. He thought it would be a good idea to start Rutgers defense and running back, which netted him a combined nine points. Rogan rolled behind quarterback Ryan Mallett, who put 38 on the board. The final is set between Volin and Rogan and no matter who wins, someone will get their mugshot in the Alligator when we get back from Thanksgiving break. The writers have been defeated, we feared it would end this way.
