I have to admit, I usually hate everything on MTV and refuse to watch it, but when I got on Facebook and saw no less than 700 statuses along the lines of "Kanye West at the VMAs - what a terrible person!" it was of the utmost importance that I find the video online.
In my opinion, it wasn't Kanye's comments (which set the bar for idiocy in the way Michael Phelps breaks his own records at swim competitions) that were surprising, it was the fact that Taylor Swift didn't take the chance to ask him whether or not he liked fish sticks.
