Fifty-one people were arrested or ejected from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during Saturday's game against Charleston Southern University, according to a University Police Department press release.
Of those, 15 were arrests, four of which were UF students.
The most common infraction was possession of alcohol, which resulted in 13 arrests and one ejection.
Ten people were ejected for intoxication and nine people were ejected for sitting in the wrong section of the stadium.
There was one arrest for battery.
Saturday's game provided the first test of the stadium's new no-smoking policy. Previously, the stadium provided smoking sections.
No one was arrested or ejected due to smoking.
The game was the first to see a full-scale rollout of the text-messaging system that allows fans to text problems to police. Toward the end of the game, 88 texts had been received.
Many of the texts involved alcohol violations and intoxicated fans, according to UPD.
