With final exams and projects looming on the horizon, the Editorial Board would like to take the opportunity to encourage you to consume massive amounts of coffee and don't stop.

Wait, what?

According to an article on CNN.com, caffeine withdrawal has caused major problems for coffee drinkers across the country to the point that they've experienced flu-like symptoms, such as headaches and even depression.

If a Starbucks addict fails to down a cup of joe as little as 12 hours after his or her latest fix, then he or she may start feeling lousy and unable to function.

The worst results ensue for coffee addicts trying to kick their habit cold turkey - a big no-no according to health experts.

Instead of going from five cups to zero overnight, the best course of action would be adopting a "step-down" program that gradually weens the drinker off the good stuff (no, not Crown Royal).

As the end of the semester means long nights at Club West, we recommend if you plan on drinking coffee or any other caffeine-based drink to make sure to stay consistent.

If you know your schedule will include an off-day or two from studying, we encourage you to treat yourself to an iced coffee at Starbucks (unsweetened, Venti and room for milk) even when you aren't planning a marathon love session with your biology textbook.

Nothing sucks more than coming down with a panic attack on your one free day when you could be reacquainting yourself with the joys of "Half Baked" ice cream and a "Twilight" DVD.

Trust us and you'll thank us later.
