Wes Hunt just being a columnist

Here's some news for Wes Hunt: The problems you note don't apply only to UF students.

All over the world people claim enough knowledge and authority to defend urban legends and half-truths as real and absolutely true.

Regardless, congratulations to Mr. Hunt! He has succeeded with his column. As a good opinion columnist, he has done more that just communicate.

He has transgressed, irritated and provoked, and in that provocation lies his success.

Many criticize his lines, but few realize what is in between. Unfortunately the general (American) public is not acquainted with sarcasm.
