I congratulate Student Sen. Ben Dictor on making a bold move in his political career.
I use the word career because it has become obvious to me and my fellow senators that Dictor was never interested in helping students, but in helping himself.
He hasn't fought for any of his platform ideas, such as free printing or free STD testing.
Instead, he has fought for more positions for himself and his fellow Orange and Blue cronies.
The irony is that he has claimed to be above the fray and not political, but since the fall elections, there has been no one more political than him.
The Gator Party has tried to fix problems in the Senate process - the problems Dictor wanted fixed - but he stood in the way.
Dictor has not proven results. He has only delivered misleading rhetoric and slowed Senate's progress.
It seems his new powers have gone to his head.
