I am new to Florida, and I have recently registered to vote here because I knew my vote would mean a lot more in Florida than in my home state of Texas.

I filled out a registration form and turned it in with a student group that had a table set up on the Plaza of the Americas.

When I went to vote on Friday, I was not in any of the databases as being registered.

I was told that several other people had come in with the same situation: registered on campus, but not in the system.

These groups need to be held accountable in some way if they're going to be in charge of a person's ability to vote.

I don't know if they were affiliated with a particular campaign, but they should be identified as such.
