Sexism not acceptable in any case

I'm tired of sexism being an acceptable way to degrade someone in the Alligator. Jake Miller's Tuesday column provided another example: He labeled Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as the "Barbie Doll from Fargo."

I dislike Palin just as much as Jake probably does. She's an incompetent hypocrite who stands against the issues I support.

It is never right to use sexism as a way to degrade a woman, just as it is never right to use racism for any reason.

Using sexism hurts all women, not just the ones you don't like, Jake.
