Platonic inter–gender relationships exist

In response to Morgan Smith's Tuesday column regarding the nonexistence of purely platonic relationships between genders: I hope she realizes the foundation of her argument is her own experience and does not apply to everyone.

I am very aware of my emotions and very communicative about them. I surround myself with people who are the same. When feelings get involved, we know about it.

If those sorts of relationships haven't happened for you, Morgan, there is no reason to assume the same goes for everyone else.
