The new online ticket system is infinitely better than the old phone system.
In previous years, students had to spend countless hours "hangup-redialing." The phones were too slow to sell all the UF-Georgia tickets the first night, so students would have to spend two consecutive nights "hangup-redialing." That's 12 hours!
With the new system, you simply open up a couple of browsers, let them run in the background and continue what you were doing.
Every year, there are plenty of angry students who spent two consecutive nights doing nothing but unsuccessfully calling in for a UF-Georgia ticket. They wasted two nights of their lives for nothing.
Granted, the new system needs improvements. For example, they should at least tell you what number you are in the line - even Dell support can pull that one off.
