An eye-poking downtown erupted into a food fight involving pizza late Saturday night.
Gainesville Police were called to break up a fight in front of 100 S.W. Second St. involving Ruzaan G. Ogra, 27, Julius O. Regalado, 32, and Gregory Michael Smith, 24, Lt. Larry Seale said.
All three told police that no punches were thrown, Seale said.Regalado told police the food fight started because someone poked him in the eye.
He told police he got angry and threw slices of pizza and the other two joined in.No one was hit by the pizza, Seale said.
Ogra, Ruzaan and Smith were each arrested.
