Alligator has lowered standards

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the Alligator this year.

First, you printed that disgusting piece of ignorance and bigotry by Jamie Edgerly on Monday.

Then, you printed a single response to her on Tuesday out of the dozens you've certainly received, and on Wednesday, you print only a letter complaining about the justifiably furious responses to Edgerly on the Alligator Web site.

Your staff this year is a shining example of mediocrity.

It's irresponsible of you not to print sufficient responses to highlight the depth of factual errors and ignorance in Edgerly's letter. Come on, where's the unbiased journalism? I used to be able to expect better of the Alligator.
